Letters from the Last Frontier was created to give children a fun, safe way to experience adventure. Each subscription follows a main character—like Koda the sled dog—in Alaska as they embark on exciting quests and learn meaningful life lessons.
About
Letters From The Last Frontier was created by Lara. She spent years mushing in the wilds of Alaska, and in 2024 ran the 1,000 mile Iditarod dog sled race, an arduous journey that combines endurance with grit. The best part of it all was being able to adventure across the untamed lands of Alaska with a team of 16 sled dogs. Those amazing sled dogs inspired her to create the character "Koda," and craft stories that invite children to join the adventure.
